A human-centered design research thesis focused on OBGYNs, birth control, transparency, and education. Bare is a digital platform that aims to overcome barriers to birth control such as access and transparency. Research revealed that lack of conversation and education were major issues. Bare provides a community for users to track their experiences and learn about their body and birth control. The platform includes personal tracking, blog forums, local clinic and doctor resources, and a birth control quiz based on values. The branding is attractive to the target audience of 14-28, featuring bold typography and positive colors to create a welcoming and approachable feel.
